What I liked best about Conscious Aging was structure without rigidity. There was a good balance of individual reflection, small group sharing and fluidity. Lynn provides support for our own growth and learning.

(This workshop is online and does not involve horses. I will be offering at least one Wisdom Keepers Horse Guided Retreat in New Mexico in 2020 for anyone who would like to deepen their conscious aging journey with the horses.. See below.)

Wisdom Keepers Horse Guided Retreat

5-day workshop with horses
New Mexico, September, 2020

Exact dates and location TBA

Deepen your conscious aging journey in the presence of horses. Because horses attune so fully to how and who we are being, they help us shed old ways that no longer serve us. They bring us wisely and gently into what has heart and meaning for us now. Activities with the horses address many of the aspects of the Conscious Aging program: Self-compassion, forgiveness, transformative practices, letting go of what no longer serves, stepping in to our fullness and wisdom -- even if our bodies have changed, creating a new vision of aging where we claim our fullness, wisdom, love and joy. (You can be part of this retreat whether or not you attended Conscious Aging, Rich Conversations online.)

$2497* includes all horse sessions, lodging, some meals, facilitated group sharing and processing. Mornings will be spent with the horses doing activities that deepen our understanding of what it means to lovingly let go of the past and step into being a sage, elder and wisdom keeper. Afternoons leave you free to explore the area, journal, play or rest.. There will be an evening gathering in preparation for the next day.

Stay tuned for more info!

Your Facilitators:

Lynn Baskfield, at age 71, has happily re-potted herself in sunny New Mexico after living in Minnesota her entire life. The aging process called her to look at what is truly important, what needed to be left behind, and what calls her forward into life despite setbacks, losses and physical changes. Lynn holds an M.A in Human Development and is a certified life coach, transformational educator and the author of two books. As owner of SpiritDance Coaching, she has been coaching, training and doing retreats since 1997. She is certified as a Conscious Aging Facilitator through the Institute of Noetic Sciences in Petaluma, California.

Lynn is passionate about offering this rich, life-affirming course. She has experienced much  growth in herself in working with the material, and is inspired by the participants in each Conscious Aging group she leads.

Jane Sparks has successfully navigated a life of thriving yet stressful solo entrepreneurship to one of retired bliss. At age 66 she took the leap, retired and moved from Minnesota to Montana. Jane now spends her time riding horses in the mountains of Montana, sharing Reiki with the animals at the Humane Society of Western Montana, teaching the public and volunteers Animal Reiki, painting, and helping others find their “sweet spot” in life. Though her metamorphosis was not an easy one, it was enriching along the way and now, at 71, she deeply “gets” the process of conscious aging.

Among the many things Jane has studied and practiced over the years are life coaching, equine guided coaching, Reiki and Japanese brush painting.   She is a certified Conscious Aging facilitator through the Institute of Noetic Sciences.
